HR Business Consultant I

Job Location: United States : Florida : Tampa  



The purpose of this position is to provide HR support to the Americas Operations organization that includes creating a client human capital plan (workforce, talent, learning) based on business strategy and objectives.  This also includes organization design and operating model development, coordinating cross-discipline HR resources to address human capital challenges and opportunities, and change leadership that fosters awareness, engagement, and action in response to corporate and business change events.  Our role in HR is to lead and enable the enterprise to drive behaviors, performance and culture expected of a world class organization.  This will be accomplished by aligning our culture to the company’s strategy and vision, promoting the overall health of our organization, revolutionizing the way we attract, develop and retain talent, and fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.



  • Serve as HR interface to the business client (up through Middle Management)
  • Contribute to client objective setting regarding human capital management throughout the entire business planning and implementation cycle
  • Participate in the execution of a comprehensive and integrated client human capital plan to enable business strategy and objectives, in alignment with the enterprise human capital plan
  • Coordinate various HR Resources such as Learning, Talent Management, Sourcing, Organization Effectiveness, and Compensation to diagnose, develop, and deliver timely and relevant solutions to the client – metrics & ER – Reporting & analysis
  • Work with BP to lead talent management and organization design/development in partnership with Talent Management and Organization Effectiveness consultants
  • Provide direction and influence to enable leaders to manage business, handle enterprise change events and lead the evolution of the organizational culture
  • Ensure delivery of timely, relevant, and efficient HR operational services in partnership with other HR organizations and resources
  • Work and communicate effectively across HR and client organizations as initiatives or circumstances require
  • Assist in building HR and leadership capabilities within client organization
  • Ensure compliance with all pertinent HR-related laws and regulations
  • Provide support on client and cross-client M&A activities
  • Contribute to enterprise-scale initiatives and projects
  • No formal supervisory responsibilities, but requires ability to lead and motivate project team members that are not direct report.


  • 5-8 years relevant experience.
  • Bachelor Degree in related field.
  • Industry, enterprise, and client business acumen.
  • Consulting skills.
  • Strong relationship building and collaboration.
  • Change management.
  • Operational talent management.
  • Thorough understanding of all aspects of HR Management.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus.
