Current Need

McKesson is currently looking for an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support the Atlanta(Duluth), GA distribution center. In addition, this HRBP will support the Memphis, TN and Birmingham, AL distribution centers.  This position can be located in Duluth, GA or Memphis, TN.



Position Description

Works closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development at the business unit or division level. Consults with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues, attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach. Participates in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, stock renewal, workforce planning, and organizational change). Assists senior management in the development of solutions through organizational development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem solving.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
  • 8+ years HR experience.
Critical Skills
  • Labor Relations / Labor avoidance experience
  • Exceptionally strong consulting and coaching skills
  • Strong developer of organizational talent
  • Extensive employee engagement abilities
  • Demonstrated Change Management  experience
  • Ability to uses data driven business information (analytics), to extract insight from analysis and translate the impact of HR solutions via measurable results.
  • Mobility - travel up to 40%
Additional Knowledge & Skills
  • Excellent management and communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to Human Resources.
  • Ability to work in warehouse setting
  • Distribution or Manufacturing or similar setting experience preferred
  • Experience working in a field HR position with multi-state based clients preferred 
Education
  • 4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience.
Certifications/Licensure
  • SHRM or HRCI Certification is a plus
