Sr.HR Generalist This role is Temp to Perm. Job Summary The successful candidate's responsibilities include providing support for a wide variety of activities of human resources including employee relations, recruiting, and the administration of benefits. The Senior HR Generalist will work as business partner to advise managers, supervisors, and/or administrators in all human resources practices, guidelines, and policies. Additionally, he/she will provide information to employees about regulations, contract language, policies, and provide general support. Responsibilities and Duties Key Job Responsibilities: • Will be responsible for site recruitment efforts, supporting the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing, writing and placing job advertisements; screening applicants, conducting background checks and extending offers. • Provide guidance and counsel to managers and employees on employee resolution matters, including conducting investigations, written documentation and fostering an environment of positive employee relations. • Will support the administration of the company's benefits program. This includes supporting Open Enrollment, COBRA, reviewing monthly invoices for accuracy, and handle day to day inquiries. • Maintains HRIS database, entering new hire information and terminating employees within the system. Generate data for monthly HR report. • Advises and provides support for department managers regarding company policy, equal employment opportunities, compensation, employee benefits and disciplinary matters. • Prepares and/or distributes written and verbal information to inform employees of benefits programs such as insurance plans, pension plans, paid time off, bonus pay, and special employer sponsored activities. • Ensures that the site complies with federal and state laws. Maintains, communicates and/or implements all updated or new state, federal or company regulations. • Records employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews and evaluations, and termination dates and reason. Prepares reports, as necessary. • Prepares employee separation notices and related documentations and conducts exit interviews to determine the reasons behind separations. • Updates employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses. • Prepares and files reports of accidents and injuries at the site.
