What you will do
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for assisting the Human Resources Manager with all functions of Human Resources Department for the Mira Loma, CA manufacturing facility

How you will do it
  • Process all applications for open hourly plant positions and administer and process post offer background check and drug screening
  • Plan and conduct all new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward Company goals
  • Conduct new employee benefit orientation and assist all employees with enrollment in the system
  • Maintain personnel and training files for all plant hourly employees
  • Administer Kronos payroll for all plant hourly employees
  • Process weekly payroll for all plant hourly employees
  • Prepare and Process separation documents for all plant employees
  • Assist employees with any problems/questions that may arise, provide information regarding policies and procedures
  • Prepare attendance and absenteeism reports
  • Prepare plant employees performance review forms and forward review forms to supervisors for completion
  • Assist with internal investigation of employee complaint
  • Assist with response to unemployment claims
  • Assist with FMLA applications and process
  • Assist with all employee events
  • Prepare weekly and monthly production reports
  • Manage the temp staffing work hours reporting and approve the invoices
  • Must know and follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Participate in all HPT functions and perform training coordinator's task for JCMS
  • Perform these and other comparable related duties as instructed by management
  • What we look for
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint products
  • Minimum 2 years payroll experience, Kronos and ADP payroll experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of legal and government requirements and regulations affecting HR functions
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate a high degree of tact and discretion

Education, Training and Experience:
  • Two years related experience in Human Resources
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field is preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is desirable
