Title: HR Administrator
Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a current HR Administrator in Culver City. This is a temporary opportunity. As an HR Manager you will develop policies and direct and coordinate human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities for this HR Administrator position include:
¿ Oversee new hire orientation and facilitate operations relating to onboarding and terminations.
¿ Act as a mentor, resource and problem solver for management and staff.
¿ Manage Hazardous Materials Disclosure Program, EEO-1, Affirmative Action Plan, Air Quality Management District Program, Annual Employee Hearing Test, SDS- Safety Data Sheets, and Sexual Harassment Prevention Program.
¿ Oversee Emergency/Evacuation Plan, E-Verify implementation, OSHA reports, Worker¿s Comp administration and litigation, FMLA, Injury and Illness Prevention Program (SB-198).
¿ Ensure Supervisors and Director of Manufacturing conduct Safety training/meetings.
¿ Provide coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution, supporting managers on documenting and communicating performance feedback.
¿ Ensure that the Company's policies and procedures are in compliance with applicable State and Federal employment laws.
¿ Prepares and maintains Employee Handbook and personnel policies and procedures.
¿ Translate policies, procedures, forms, and miscellaneous material as needed.
¿ Conduct investigations into allegations of discrimination or harassment; make recommendations based on findings.
¿ Communicate and ensure compliance and understanding by employees of laws, regulations and organizational policies and procedures.
¿ Oversee security guard schedules, security camera and building alarm system.
¿ Supervises Human Resources Assistant.
¿ Perform additional duties as opportunities arise.
¿ Screen and recruit temporary employees through negotiation (with the assistance of General Counsel) and implementation of temp hiring agency agreements
¿ Screen recruit new employees through negotiation (with the assistance of General Counsel) and implementation of employee recruitment agencies and other recruitment channels such as internet job boards.
¿ Participate with General Counsel and VP Finance in negotiation and administration of company insurance programs in Worker¿s Compensation, Medical, Dental, Disability and, Life
Human Resources Qualifications:
¿ Bilingual English/Spanish
¿ 10+ years of Human Resources experience.
¿ Bachelor¿s Degree
¿ Team-oriented with excellent communication and leadership skills
¿ Excellent judgment, discretion and sensitivity regarding confidential information.
¿ Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite¿
¿ Strong employee focus with outstanding judgment, critical thinking, and verbal and written skills.
¿ A strong emphasis on healthcare and worker¿s compensation knowledge highly preferred
¿ Familiarity with state and federal
¿ Experience with ADP workforce now
Pay for this position is $30-40 hr DOE plus overtime as needed. This is a temporary opportunity.
