Position Summary: Are you interested in creating an important impact at CVS Health? This position will provide operational support for employment compliance services that are delivered across the enterprise.
In this role, you are responsible for leading the delivery of high-volume employment programs including: pre screening background and drug program; I-9 validation program; centralized, back-office recruiting functions for retail locations, multiple distribution centers and various other pharmacy operations centers. We oversee the implementation of employment compliance strategies, back-office recruiting services, and third party provider services across the various business units.
We lead a large team responsible for hiring over 100k employees each year across 10,000 locations. Collaborating with senior business leaders, compliance team members, and HR, we will implement delivery strategies based upon the needs of the business. You will play a key role in solving complex business problems, developing and executing strategic plans and creating solutions to support business growth. You will be responsible for effectively leading the team through ongoing transformation efforts in a way that mitigates risk and focuses on delivering excellence.
-Serving as a trusted advisor and forward-looking thought partner to senior management, HR Partners, and business leader to provide consultation on recruiting plans.
-Building, maintaining and continuously improving operational processes to drive an efficient, fast-paced, recruiting operation.
-Identify, establish and drive review of significant recruiting metrics and enable the team to make data driven decisions.
-Use data and metrics to understand the current state and recommend updates in a clear, concise executive level ready format to inform a talent strategy for the client.
-Stay current on industry trends, market data, and ensure strong compliant practices.
-Lead operational risk/controls; use audit results to support compliance of recruiting policies and processes.
-Support management practices including performance management, coaching, career planning, development, and training for all team members.
-Strong people, partnership, collaborating and project management skills; lead complex situations and multiple priorities.
-Lead a team of 65+ individuals responsible for executing the enterprise recruiting, operations management and tier 1 and tier 2 call center support.
-Lead teams responsible for executing complex activities related to ensuring hiring compliance in 50 states. Required Qualifications: 10+ years of dynamic management level operational experience in a service delivery environment including:
-Working knowledge of statistical process control methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).
-Experience with change management.
-Demonstrable ability to drive programs, lead people through change and meet deliverables in a complex environment.
-Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.

-Demonstrable experience managing and leading large teams with a strong focus on operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:-15+ years of business experience.
-Experience in high volume transactional roles strongly preferred; 5+ of those years in leadership roles.
-Thorough understanding of recruiting, compensation, EEO/AAP, employment laws and HR policies and standard methodologies.
-PeopleSoft or equivalent HR / Payroll system knowledge.
-Excellent client service and interpersonal skills.
-Capabilities and experience in Change Management a plus.
-Excellent PC skills, including deep understanding of spreadsheet and database software.
-Excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as a team.
-Demonstrable ability to perform well and with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines and in a rapidly changing regulatory and business environment in an essential quality.
-Ability to prioritize and lead projects utilizing standard project management methodologies.
-Client advising experience.
-Experience in Recruiting service delivery functions with pre-employment screening and I9 programs.
-Experience with leading third party service provider including exposure to sourcing, contracting and ongoing governance process.
-Collaborate with Legal and Compliance partners, actively remain informed on legal and regulatory changes at the federal, state and local level specifically as it applies to labor laws for hiring and employing in a pharmaceutical and healthcare environment.
-Manage applicable vendors in support of Compliance and Audit activities, including reporting and vendor controls. Education:-Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 10 years of dynamically responsible Human Resources and Recruiting experience, or equivalent work experience.
-Advanced degree preferred, such as an MBA or a Masters in Human Resources.
