The Applied Materials "HR Technology Team" is seeking a strong manager to lead and inspire the HR Systems Infrastructure team to be able to continuously execute and innovate. The Team's mission is to provide support and insight to optimize HR business processes using HR Technology. You will be an effective collaborator, working with IT, HR, the business and the overall HRIS team to take Workday & Saba LMS to the next level. Workday and LMS experience is preferred, but not a must.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead teams of Business Analysts and Project managers to implement global business solutions as it relates to Workday & Saba LMS
  • Responsible for managing the support and maintenance of Workday, the core HRIS system and Saba, Learning Mgmt System; includes business process and security configuration
  • Work with the team to stay informed of new Workday and Saba LMS functionality in order to continuously optimize HR Technology
  • Partner and collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, colleagues in other functional areas and fellow HR&A team members to identify key HRIS issues impacting the business
  • Partner with HR, Business to deliver high-quality HRIS solutions
• Partner and participate with IT and other stakeholders on integration/interfaces needs
  • Lead or participate in HRIS continuous improvement projects
  • Manage the semi-annual Workday releases & Saba LMS quarterly updates
  • Lead the governance of Workday & Saba LMS
  • Establish scalable processes to drive operational excellence and the continuous improvement of the function
  • Manage resources, capacity planning and budgets
  • Partner with Managers and Executives throughout the HR Organization to understand their roadmaps and technology requirements. Incorporate need into the Workday & Saba LMS HR technology roadmap
  • Establish SOW's, procure resources and manage vendors as required to execute on projects and services
  • Manage project intake, prioritization and delivery process for all CIP projects and technology requests

Qualifications:
Experience:
  • 7 plus years of HRIS experience preferred
  • 3-5 years of people management experience
  • 3-5 years of technical and functional integration knowledge
  • Workday and LMS experience is preferred, but not a must
  • Track record of success in creating efficiencies in business through business process and technology enhancements
