JOB TITLE: HRMS Systems Analyst
Evaluates, analyzes, designs, implements and maintains company HRM system and its interfaces. Acts as liaison between ADP and HR /Payroll end users from more than 30 different Airgas pay groups. Uses knowledge of Company practices to identify new needs, and recommend, develop and implement changes to existing programs/processes, and to gather data and report information. Maintains HRMS security structure and system tables shared by all Airgas companies and business units. Responsible for research, analysis, and development of ad hoc reports and interfaces in support of Airgas Corporate Headquarters', Air Liquide US Headquarters', and Air Liquide Global Headquarters' initiative. Responsible for security administration. Acts as Corporate expert on HR/Payroll applications and reporting tools.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Evaluate HRMS' ability to meet various business requirements. Plan and perform the analysis, design, and testing of applications and interfaces to ensure that they conform to agreed upon specifications and are ready to be moved to production. Create and execute tests plans that ensure programs meet system requirements. Analyze business requirements and create reports for senior management. Make recommendations for better system utilization or system improvements. Analyze and evaluate existing or proposed information systems application software, to ensure software supports HR strategy and end-user requirements.
•Manage projects and lead implementation teams, ensuring projects are successfully completed on time and on budget.
•Interview end-users to understand and document functional requirements.
•Translate end-user requirements into detailed program specifications.
•Plan and perform the analysis, design, and testing of applications and interfaces to ensure that they conform to agreed upon specifications and are ready to be moved to production.
•Participate in the planning, development and execution of system conversions and updates.
•Create and execute test plans that ensure programs meet systems requirements and test results are properly documented and retained according to Internal Audit guidelines and policies.
•Work with end-users, as needed, to develop, document, and execute test plans to ensure programs meet systems requirements.
•Develop and communicate procedures, processes and guidelines that are efficient and focused on the quality of the process or end-state deliverable.
•Manage various vendor interface programs.
•Provide first line of technical support for HR/Payroll System users and/or their IT support person when system issues are encountered.
•Analyze business requirements and create reports for Airgas Corporate management, Air Liquide US Management and Air Liquide Global Management.
•Maintain HRMS/Payroll system security structure, ensuring that proper controls are in place.
•Function as application and report-writer expert.
•Maintain Company set-up tables in HRMS.
•Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
•Minimum 6 - 8 years experience in an Information Technology Systems Analyst function supporting integrated HR/Payroll applications, working with senior management and HR/Payroll end-users to translate business requirements into systems specifications, and providing end-user support. Experience with ADP Enterprise Systems and Kronos preferred.
•Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, HR, or other related discipline preferred.
•Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects, including project resources, timelines and budgets.
•Business-minded approach to problem solving that involves collaboration, rapport building and interaction with all levels of management.
•Project management experience in planning and leading projects to timely and successful complementation.
•Familiar with all stages of the project life cycle from inception through post-implementation.
•Experience with the implementation of new systems, enhancements and upgrades.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong organizational skills.
•Self-starting, proactive individual that is comfortable working independently and in teams.
• Strong problem solving/analytical skills.
•Ability to influence without positional power.
•Occasional overnight travel may be required.
