Adecco has an immediate need for an Human Resource Assistant for a client in Poway. This is a 3 to 6 month contracted position looking for a candidate that has high energy and can hit the ground running. If you meet the qualifications below please apply now:
Provides administrative support to the HR team including special projects.
-Coordinates new employee onboarding and orientation program.
-Administers new employee training schedule. -Directs presentations and trainings as needed.
Data entry of new employee information.
Assist with performance management software.
Create job descriptions and assign to employees electronically.
Assist with general HR responsibilities.
Manage/File training records.
Run reports (from templates).
Update Org Charts (Visio).
Serves as back-up receptionist covering lunch and rest breaks and sick and vacation days.
Above average Microsoft Excel skills-utilized it on a daily basis, Pivot tables, Vlookups.
General knowledge of employment law and HR practices.
Ability to pick up on different software easily.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills including good listening, speaking and writing skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Intermediate MS Office skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
BA or BS (college graduate) - Desired
