Adecco is seeking a professional Human Resources Generalist to become apart of a fast growing automotive company located in Sidney, OH. The HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with HR Director. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action and employment law compliance. The successful candidate will report directly to the Human Resources Director who oversees the entire HR function of a 900 employee organization. The HR Generalist will work closely with the Operational staff to include Plant Manager, Operations Manager, Engineering Manager, and Supply Chain Manager. This role will work closely with the plants HR Coordinator and assist in developing said employees skill set. Generalist responsibilities to include (but not limited to) recruiting (staffing), employee relations, performance management, succession planning, conflict resolution, annual payroll review, etc... The HR Generalist will make themselves 'visible' and 'available' to plant employees for daily problems and/or issues that may arise. Responsible for overseeing the onboarding of new employees via orientation program. Previous Safety Management experience a plus.
