Pay Rate/Salary: $80000-150000 / Year
The Human Resource Manager is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function. Given the company's distinctive culture and strong brand image, the Human Resource Manger is critical to the continued success of the company. The ideal candidate will bring a fresh and creative approach to the HR Department to further the brand position through the recruitment, training, and motivation of all employees. The candidate must also be nonpolitical and able to diplomatically voice his/her opinions while operating in a team-oriented environment.

Education and Experience

A bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of human resource experience are required. A master's degree in human resource management is encouraged. SHRM Certified Professional, SHRM Senior Certified Professional or HRCI Certification (PHR, SPHR) is highly recommended.

  • Essential Functions

  • Build a premier recruiting program that reflects energy, vitality, and a team-oriented atmosphere

  • Establish a process to identify and recruit the very best employees to ensure an ongoing flow of future talent for the company

  • Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel

  • Develops, recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures; performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, and change reporting

  • Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations

  • Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt, nonexempt and temporary workers; writes and places advertisements; works with supervisors to screen and interview candidates; conducts reference checking; extends job offers; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-path program and employee relations counseling; conducts exit interviews

  • Establishes and maintains department records and reports. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings, often in other parts of the U.S. and foreign countries. Will maintain the ability to travel several times per year out of the U.S. for extended periods of time, as well as other parts of the U.S.

  • Evaluates reports, decisions and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed

  • Travel

  • International travel is required at least twice yearly for a minimum of a week

  • Travel within the U.S. required at least four times per year for minimum of four days each

  • Initial training will last approximately two months and will be done internationally
