The HR Operations Manager will drive the successful execution and delivery of a strategy for operational excellence within the HR function. This position will implement best practices and drive efficiencies in HR processes. He/she will also provide leadership and day-to-day direction to the newly created HR Operations Team.
Policies and Compliance
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for HR policies and procedures
  • Develop, recommend and lead the design and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Monitor legislation and legal provisions that may affect HR operational processes and ensure Blizzard is in legal compliance
  • Identify opportunities for policy updates and ensure consistent policy interpretation and application
  • Ensure that policies are up-to-date in our knowledge base system
  • Work with the Legal Team to understand how new/changing laws will impact the company and current policies
  • Work with Activision Blizzard Corporate Compliance Team and coordinate to help drive policy creation and execution consistent with our values
HR Operations & Administration
  • Lead the HR Operations team effectively enabling them to efficiently deliver HR Operations deliverables, including but not limited to onboarding, off boarding, data management, data integrity, compliance
  • Establish and document SOPs for HR Operations
  • Supervise work of HR Coordinators to ensure quality and consistency
  • Mentor, train and provide direction to HR Coordinators while ensuring balanced workload and staffing coverage at all times
  • Responsible for the execution of the new hire orientation program
  • Responsible for reporting and ad hoc report requests
  • Ensure proper maintenance and management of employee and department files
  • Responsible for the HR internal service desk tool and ensure HR help desk cases are resolved in a timely manner
  • Provide training to HR staff on various HR processes and HR systems
  • Engage proactively and regularly with HR Business Partners to develop understanding of how HR Operations can best serve the evolving needs of our client groups
  • Recommend plans for continued process improvements to support business strategies and operational needs
Employee Data Maintenance:
  • Responsible for data governance to ensure the highest degree of data quality
  • Responsible for data maintenance for the employee life cycle
  • Establish and implement HR data audit protocols
  • Develop process to identify data integrity issues
  • Ensure the integrity of the employee data entered in the HR system
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years HR Operations experience
  • Minimum of 5 years HR system experience (Workday highly desired)
  • Proven track record in management and development of others
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong understanding of key HR processes
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws
  • Must be very detail oriented and have great analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must have excellent verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence change & process improvements
  • Proven track record in successfully building effective working relationships
