Centennial Medical Center is currently looking for a HVAC Technician II - Full-Time, Day Shifts.


Rotating weekends and holidays.





Job Summary:

The Facility Engineering HVAC Technician II carries out responsibilities in the following areas: strong knowledge in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pipe-fitting, blueprint reading, troubleshooting, ability to work with minimum supervision and capable of working on different types of industrial and hospital plant related equipment.



General Essential Functions:
  1. Perform daily routine HVAC/maintenance duties as assigned.
  2. Perform minor repair on all hospital related equipment.
  3. Provide initial response to general HVAC/maintenance related service calls.
  4. Perform basic plumbing repair.
  5. Perform basic electrical repair.
  6. Perform all repairs on general HVAC/maintenance equipment as assigned.
  7. Assist other mechanics on projects as assigned.
  8. Keep work area neat and clean at all times.
  9. Perform all assigned tasks in a safe manner personally & environmentally while keeping work area safe at all times.
  10. Troubleshoot and perform repairs on HVAC System with minimal supervision.
  11. Certification in Refrigerant Recovery System (hold current certification).
  12. Troubleshoot and repair ice machines & drinking water fountains.
  13. Capable of working on small HVAC system troubleshooting & performing repairs.
  14. Knowledgeable in electrical circuitry and demonstrates competency in using electric meter.
  15. Perform daily water testing and ability to mix chemicals and monitor usage and appropriate operating levels.
  16. Knowledgeable in medical vacuum and medical air systems.
  17. Knowledgeable in boiler operation and DA system.
  18. Knowledgeable in reading blue prints and schematic designs.
  19. Perform any additional task as requested by director/supervisor.

Qualifications:
  1. Vocational Training
  2. Over 2 years of experience
