The Senior Manager, Business Development is a key central member of the Growth team and plays a pivotal role in the agency's overall business development efforts. The Senior Manager is responsible for managing, writing and editing content for business development efforts. They lead the creation of agency RFI/RFP and proposal/pitch responses for prospective clients.

  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary agency teams to lead, manage and edit all content for prospective client proposals, presentations, RFIs and RFPs
  • Provide strategic and storytelling support to response/proposal/pitch teams, envisioning the entire experience and ensuring adherence to agency best practices
  • Draft RFI and RFP proposal responses with compelling short- and long-form copy, ensuring that all content is current (cases, capabilities, bios, etc.)
  • Manage pitch and proposal logistics and planning (build out chronologies for events, coordinate meetings, coordinate travel itineraries in conjunction with Executive Assistants, channel logistics information to appropriate team members, etc.)
  • Partner with agency Sales Enablement resources to optimize client-facing content and reusable response, pitch and proposal assets
  • Support Growth team efforts to review inbound inquiries to ensure efficient and accurate opportunity identification, qualification and action
  • Participate in the creation of convincing briefs to prepare the team for why Resource/Ammirati should pursue particular opportunities

  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Strong information management, research, communication and persuasive writing skills
  • Passion for and understanding of digital marketing and its leading role in driving marketplace success for clients
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and outgoing individual with strong persuasive ability
  • A team player who is proactive, flexible, results-oriented and comfortable in a rapidly changing environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and relationship building experience
