Current Need

Position Summary:

Under general supervision, manages the training and workflow process for the installation of iKnowMed EHR, and Lynx Mobile in a physician practice/multiple sites, based on the specific workflow determined by the project team.  Analyzes and redesigns workflow to ensure the maximum effectiveness in the use of iKnowMedEHR, Lynx Mobile, and integrated technologies by the end users. 

Acts as the primary support person for end users during project implementation.  Supports and adheres to the McKesson Specialty Health Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Key Responsibilities

1.            Conducts onsite or web based training to customer base.  High level of application knowledge is required. 

2.            Executes on defined practice workflow, implementation checklists and end user training materials. Supports the adoption of MU, Patient Portal and LM integrated solution in customer environment.

3.            Follows customer training plans and Implementation Checklists.   Assesses user abilities and tailors training to meet customers’ needs.

4.            Ensures participation, innovation and decision-making among group; effectively uses facilitation tools and group process techniques.

5.            Responsible for achieving project goals and meeting milestones. Supports customers during implementation both remotely and onsite as appropriate.

6.            Provides implementation change management support of the iKnowMed EHR and Lynx Mobile systems into physician practices.

7.            Exercises good judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.


Qualifications

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Education/Training –

  • Bachelors degree or work experience equivalent in Nursing, Pharmacy, Information Systems or related Healthcare field.
 

Business Experience –

  • 2+ years work experience training, implementing and/or supporting clinical staff and providers in use of EHR or other clinical systems.
  • 2+ years experience in health care environment, preferred clinic setting.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, CSV, Webex and PDF file
  • Writes succinctly – Writing of site notes and policies and procedures is both clear and succinct.  Expresses ideas and conveys information in a minimum of words.  Appropriately uses written communications.
 

Specialized Knowledge/Skills –

  • 1-2 years experience in clinical environment such as hospital or clinic

Specialized Lynx Mobile Skills –

  • Staging Computer equipment and peripherals.
  • Set-up Lynx Mobile Cabinets and install remote locks on refrigerators.
  • Basic understanding of Web Browsers: Internet Explorer, Google Chrome & Firefox
  • Basic understanding of Operating Systems (i.e. Windows, Mac, Android)
  • Basic understanding of Network appliances (network panels, hubs, switches, CAT5/6 Ethernet cables & Drops) and concepts (CAT5 Ethernet, Wireless Access, IP Configuration, Internet bandwidth)
Working Conditions:
Environment
  • Remote based
  • Travel up to 80%
  • Clinics, Pharmacy and Hospitals.
  • Understand safety requirements of working in an environment where Chemotherapy is mixed, Biohazards, and administered.
  • Weekend travel may be required.
 

Physical Requirements (Lifting, standing, etc.) –

  • Must be capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Use tools to assemble equipment.
  • Large percent of time performing computer based work is required.
  • The employee is required to stand and walk while onsite at customer location(s)
