Adecco is assisting a top tier company in a search for a Inbound Logistics Administrator position located in . This is a direct hire opportunity. The company is seeking a candidate who is knowledgeable on U.S Customs and FDA regulations, U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations. This candidate should be able to prioritize, thinks quickly and be detail oriented. The job entails working with West Coast traffic Coordinator to make sure all shipments of product are properly cleared through Customs and the FDA. Arrange and monitor the re-exportation or arrange for the destruction of the FDA rejected products. Update shipment information in the ABS, providing the most updated ETD and ETA's. Capable of working with Port Authority to ensure security and cargo flow.
Requirements and Responsibilities
Skilled with Ms Word, Excel and Outlook.
SAP experience a plus.
1 to 3 years of experience.
Associate degree or BS required.
Experience with regulatory fillings.
Experience with export/import transportation.
Outstanding customer service and be able to maintain professionalism.
Knowledgeable of Spanish is a plus but not required.
Solid understating of math, discounts, interest and commissions.
Familiar with Canadian Customs and the Canadian food inspection Agency.
Knowledgeable with FMC regulations.
