Perform waste feed operations, maintenance, and general facility housekeeping at the Corporate Hazardous Waste Incinerator. Employees are responsible for reporting and responding to spills, emission incidents, or permit noncompliance occurrences at the plant. Employees are responsible to adhere to all safety and environmental requirements pertaining to the job function. Primary Responsibilities
include but are not limited to the following:
This position will require:
- Operations in Pumproom, Direct Burn, Split Area, and Tanker Unloading
- Filling in for PO2 responsibilities (Pak, Komar, Rounds,etc)
- Filling in for Shipping & Receiving responsibilities
- Obtain Provisional Certification within the time-line indicated in the Collective
- Bargaining Agreement between 3M and International Union of Operating Engineers Local 70
- Report and respond to EHSR incidents
- Operate in a safe and ethical manner
- Other duties as assigned by supervision
This position may require:
- Weekend work
- Working rotating shifts
- Working overtime
- Short notice call ins
- Working holidays as needed
- Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum one (1) year chemical process experience
