Position Summary:
As an Indirect Tax Analyst in the CVS Health Tax Department, you will assist in the analysis, calculation, and reporting of sales, use, excise, and similar taxes. Responsibilities may include organizing and analyzing data, preparing reports, assisting in the preparation of tax returns, supporting tax audits, researching the appropriate tax-ability of the products and/or services being sold or purchased, reviewing notices from tax authorities and proposing solutions, and providing assistance and support on other tax projects as needed.

Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years of professional work experience required. Accounting specific experience, including internships, strongly preferred
- 1+ years of MS Office experience, either academically or professionally required

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Practical, common sense problem solving skills
- Quantitative and analytical skills
- Capacity to develop and maintain a collaborative working relationship with colleagues
- Proficient computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access are required.
- Candidate should possess experience that provided knowledge and exposure to fundamental accounting and tax theories, principles and concepts.
- Experience working in a fast paced corporate environment that provided knowledge and exposure to fundamental sales and use tax theories, principles and concepts.
- Advanced knowledge of complex formulas and queries in MS Excel, Access, and SQL.

Verifiable Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; degrees in Accounting or Economics highly preferred.
