Industrial Electrician / Maintenance Technician - Nashua, NH
Adecco Direct Hire is recruiting on behalf of our esteemed client inNashua,NHfor the position of Industrial Electrician / Maintenance Technician. Qualified candidates for this role will have a NH License and have at least 3 years of Industrial / Manufacturing experience.
This is a direct hire / permanent role paying $30+/hr / Benefits / Vaca / MORE
Perform maintenance and repair duties as necessary to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facility.
Perform preventive maintenance as indicated in the preventive maintenance program.
Analyze boiler water and adjust chemicals as necessary to ensure good boiler condition.
Write purchase orders and contact vendors to obtain parts and equipment.
Detect and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials, and questionable conditions to Department Supervisor.
Maintain work area(s) and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
Performs daily routine and preventive maintenance based on best practices.
Ability to work safely hand in hand with others or alone affecting repairs as needed.
Monitors operation of plant equipment and building systems to ensure proper maintenance and care and to reduce down time and costs.
Assists with projects that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Follows all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
Ensures that local, state and federal regulations are met for the Asset at all times.
Communicates directly with Lead and or Manager to coordinate maintenance and repairs, also notify Lead / Supervisor when inventory needs to be re-ordered.
Ensures Asset cleanliness including organized and safe shop environment for co-workers
MinimumHigh Schooldiploma, with vocational education and or hands on experience.
Must have a current NH Electrician License
MA license a plus
Boiler License a plus
Basic reading and math skills sufficient to allow accurate execution of maintenance and repair procedures.
Experience or knowledge of SAFETY-TRAIN training grid.
Retrain every three years in Hazardous Waste Handling.
Mechanical equipment experience, skilled hands on experience and detailed knowledge and understanding of HVAC equipment and repairs, basic plumbing repair skills, basic electrical and trouble shooting and repair skills.
Excellent listening, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required.
Flexible and able to work overtime and weekends if required.
Computer and software basic comprehension.
Efficient, proactive, responsive team player with a proven ability to establish and maintain strong client and inter partner relationships at all levels required.
Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and time sensitive deliverables and deliver quality results on time.
Hands on, self-starting, disciplined and detail oriented individual with ability to work independently in high volume environment.
Able to work with wide range of cultures and all levels of tenant team members with minimum supervision and guidance.
Personally exhibits a strong commitment to dependability and reliability with the ability to gain and maintain the confidence of team, partners and clients.
