The Commercial Markets Technology organization is in the midst of a multi-million dollar investment initiative that will help redefine the landscape of IT. We are currently seeking an ETL Developer with strong ETL (Informatica & PL/SQL) DEVELOPER experience for a full time position. The developer will be working on Enterprise projects using Informatica & PL/SQL for integrating data from legacy systems to Data Warehouse/reporting systems. He/she will be working in sub-teams supporting large program development and future enhancements. This will be a key position critical to the successful execution of key strategic initiatives that will enable transformation of The Hartford systems.

OBJECTIVES
  • Plan, design, develop, modify, debug and evaluate moderately complex software primarily for ETL and data warehousing/reporting applications.
  • Possesses functional knowledge and skills reflective of a competent practitioner with the ability to deliver on work of highest technical complexity
  • Strong Knowledge of Oracle, Informatica, Unix Shell scripting, Autosys scheduling tool, Sub Version version control Tools.
  • Strong data warehouse applications knowledge.
  • Knowledge of ErWin modeling, Big Data (HDFS), Data Analytical languages R, Python would be a big plus.
  • Consults with functional management in the analysis of short and long-range business requirements and recommends innovations which anticipate the future impact of changing business needs.
  • Works closely with client management to identify and specify the complex business requirements and processes for diverse development platforms, computing environments (e.g., host based, distributed systems, client server), software, hardware, technologies and tools.
  • Prepare periodic activity and progress reports for assigned work.



Qualifications:
Required Experience:
  • 5 years ETL experience
  • Strong Knowledge of Oracle, Informatica, Unix Shell scripting, Autosys scheduling tool, Sub Version control Tools.
  • Knowledge of ErWin modeling, Big Data (HDFS), Data Analytical languages R, Python would be a big plus.
  • Strong data warehouse applications knowledge is a plus.
