Job Description
Information Technology Senior Auditor, Infrastructure
The IT Senior Auditor will be part of the IT Infrastructure and General Controls Audit Team
This IT Audit Team audits technologies such as: Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory and Group Policy Object management, UNIX / Linux Operating Systems, LDAP, System administration, Network administration, Database Administration, Virtualization and Security vulnerability scanning.
The IT Senior Auditor will participate in the performance of audits, specifically focusing on fieldwork and testing the internal control environment and in the reviews of information technology processes and controls.
The IT candidate should clearly demonstrate proficiency in evaluating and testing internal controls and in applying audit skills. 
 The IT Senior Auditor will complete audit work papers and memoranda by documenting audit tests and findings in an automated Audit Workpaper program.
 The IT Senior Auditor will communicate audit progress and findings by preparing reports and providing information in meetings
Professional Skills
Strong data gathering (interviewing technology owners), analysis and communication skills
Strong professional and technical writing skills (risk assessments, process narratives, reports, presentations, draft policies and procedures, etc.)
Strong personal time management/project management
Good problem identification and solving skills
Is detail oriented and can demonstrate a high degree of intellectual curiosity for learning new technologies and methodologies

Professional Experience and Differentiators:
4 plus years IT Audit experience within an internal audit function or public accounting
Has experience performing technology and process-oriented inherent and residual risk assessments
Has experience identifying, assessing, documenting and testing IT process-related controls:  change management, logical access, incident and problem management, IT security operations, IT lifecycle management, IT vulnerability and patch management
Has experience identifying, assessing, documenting and testing IT platform-related controls: security settings and configurations, identification and authentication parameters, and logging and monitoring
Education and Professional Certifications
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
CISA and CISM or CISSP are a reasonable indication of audit and technical knowledge
Able to travel both domestically and international to State Street locations around the global.  Travel will range up to 25 % annually.
