Position Description


We currently have a fulltime opening in our Information Technology Engineering group for a Senior Associate position. Our practice based in Blue Bell, PA.  The right candidate will provide senior technical expertise, manage implementations, and provide support to a variety of small and medium sized businesses.  It is important that you have experience in a customer facing role or have worked for a company where client advocacy is a primary component of your role.



Work closely with the Northeast infrastructure team to act as the focal point of complex technical initiatives, including:


        • Work closely with leads or lead engagement lifecycle, including project scoping, statements of work, project plans, and service delivery updates

        • Perform service delivery at customer sites and working remotely, while minimizing interruption to live customer systems

        • Work with various methodologies and best practices in areas such as change management, service continuity, and continual service improvement

        • Design detailed Standard Operating Procedures for Engineering and IT Outsourcing teams, including standards definition and configuration walkthroughs

        • Work closely with Account Managers and internal staff to assist in anticipating growing customer needs and actively engaging to discuss areas of improvement and potential sales opportunity


        • Extensive technical expertise in MOST of the following areas:
        • Directory Services and Messaging – AD, Office 365 and Exchange - Experience migrating and upgrading customer messaging environments, along with mobile platforms
        • SAN’s and Virtualization – Advanced knowledge of design and operational best practices for virtualization solutions - Experience with EMC, EqualLogic or NetApp SANs, along with ESX and/or Hyper-V implementations and P2V
        • Networking – High level awareness of Firewall/IDS, Routing, Switching, Wireless
        • Exposure to desktop virtualization solutions such as XenApp
        • Existing VCP, CCNP, MCSE, and CCEA is highly desirable
          (Extensive ongoing technical training will be provided.)


        Non-technical experience in the following areas:

        • Easily communicate with technical and non-technical audience
        • Experience and personality to diffuse difficult customer situations
        • Extensive knowledge of Visio and PowerPoint to create professional documentation and presentations
        • Ability to function independently, prioritize and act as a mentor to junior engineering staff and members of other teams
        • Ability and desire to occasionally work evenings, nights or travel to client locations
        • Experienced working in a high energy professional services or consulting firm preferred, but not required


        Basic Qualifications

        • Bachelor’s degree and certification in IT related field
        • 7-10 years of experience with the Windows Server platform, virtualization, infrastructure configurations, server management, storage, and networking
        • 5 years of IT Consulting expertise
        • Familiar with standard IT practices and policies
        • Eagerness to contribute
        • Ability to travel up to 20%, including some overnight stays

        • Strong judgment, issues management, and problem analysis techniques
        • Strong presentation, facilitation, time management, and prioritization skills
        • Proven ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
        • Demonstrated ability to balance priorities on simultaneous projects
        • Client relationship management experience
