MS Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology
Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology is the global technology department responsible for the design, development, delivery and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) business. The department is comprised of 10 organizations: Sales, Banking & Corporate-Client Technology, Investment Products & Markets Technology, Client Reporting, Core Processing, Private and International Wealth Management Technology, Technology Integration Office, Enterprise Infrastructure & Production Management, Capital Markets Application & Data Services, Deployment Planning & Release Management, and the Chief Operating Office. Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology works with large scale databases such as DB2 and SQL Server, proprietary and non-proprietary messaging software, a broad variety of vendor products, numerous financial exchanges and regulatory entities, and programming languages ranging from .Net and Java to Cobol and VB.Net.
The individual will be part of the End User Platform Services (EUPS), Application and Deployment Services team within the Wealth Management Core Technology Services (CTS) Division. This team is responsible for managing End User Experience for the field facing users, 3 rd party applications, software delivery and other desktop related tools. The candidate would be responsible for deploying software (internal & external 3 rd Party Applications) to all of Wealth Management machines. Candidate would be responsible for defining requirements for, and driving change with, our Enterprise Infrastructure Partners. Day to day functions include ownership of projects related to Software Deployment and End User Experience. As we move toward the Windows 10 Deployment project, the resource would also be responsible for helping to solve advanced technical challenges.
- Possess an understanding of SCCM and peer to peer caching tools such as Adaptiva
- Ability to collaborate, collect and document requirements for Software Distribution
- Ability to understand PowerShell scripts for administrative purposes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent Office, Excel, PowerPoint skills including advanced vlookup skills
- Ability to run meetings and give presentations to all levels of management
Excellent desktop troubleshooting skills (Windows 7 and 10)
