IBM has recently announced a new Cloud Video Services Business Unit which includes the new acquisitions Clearleap and Ustream. Television today spans far beyond the traditional TV set. It's the last few seconds of a basketball game streamed to your iPhone - and all of season two on your tablet. The Clearleap platform as a service allows TV networks, cable and satellite providers, and major studios to offer video on tablets, smart phones, connected TVs and PCs. Ustream is a leading provider of live and on-demand video solutions providing a cloud-based platform that empowers organizations to be more transparent and productive by combining high-quality video streaming, enterprise-grade security, and scalability to reach millions of viewers. Together, these solutions provide the core of our IBM Cloud Video Offerings. This Inside Sales Account Executive position is focused on the Ustream Offerings.
 
The Opportunity:
 
The Inside Sales Account Executive position is responsible for selling Ustream's Live Streaming solutions. Candidate must have a proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue goals and a strong background in customer relationships.
 
Please note that this position is based in our San Francisco HQ and you will need to be able to work from the office each day. This is not a telecommuting position.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Meet or exceed quota every month
  • Must be able to build pipeline through prospecting and cold calling; and by converting SQLs provided by a Sales Development Representative Team into opportunities
  • Develop and manage new business relationships
  • Manage complex sales-cycles and present our value to senior executives and IT staff
  • Accurately forecast sales bookings
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to manage your activities

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of quota carrying software or technology sales
  • Proven record of outstanding sales achievement
  • Outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional ability to drive business value during sales engagements
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles
  • Passionate, hard-working, self-starter
  • Weekly forecasting- know each deal status, next steps and obstacles to overcome
