Provides all aspects of new and existing inside sales and customer support from lead generation to close; including ensuring proposed work (e.g. training results) meets customer needs.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Uses sales methods to prospect, source leads, and develop and maintain customer relationships to sell education/training products to customers, including providing quotes and follow-up (on sales, feedback, invoices, etc.). (60%)
Supports the Marketing Specialist in implementation of the marketing plan. (5%)
Maintains accurate records of all leads, interactions, sales, communications, and prospects; as well as customer correspondence, purchases, and competitive activity utilizing company software systems. (5%)
Provides accurate development and communication of training correspondence and definition of materials needs to appropriate personnel to ensure efficient shipping and delivery of materials to clients. (10%)
Acts as the liaison between the instructor, client and sales team for seamless training and client experiences. (5%)
Sources and assigns qualified instructors for client training engagements. (10%)
Attends and participates in group and sales team meetings. (5%)

Identifies program improvements, enhancements, and recommendations for future programs
Manages the establishment of programs, negotiating contracts and resolving problems, making decisions to ensure smooth operation

Develop, monitor, and execute short- and long-range strategic and business plans for Professional Development products and services in and efficient effective and professional manner
Contribute to the achievement of organizational goals
Additional projects as assigned
Creating products and services that foster continual growth while meeting customer needs, including globalizing product offerings
Entering new technical markets
Maintaining the technical quality and presentation of products
Maintaining and applying a solid working knowledge of current educational trends to develop programs that will meet customer needs
Continually creating new products and seeking new markets
Motivating volunteers or contractors in industry to develop new programs
Coaching and motivating staff or SMEs/instructors
RequirementsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor�s Degree required.
This is 100% inside sales/developing business
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales or business development type role
Demonstrated communications and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated initiative and organizational skills.
