Basic qualifications:
10+ years of Sales, marketing and/or media leadership experience in Consumer Healthcare or Pharmaceutical, or other relevant services industries
Previous experience with the management of an inside sales team and/or field sales within Life Sciences Industry.
Knowledge of best-practice customer acquisition strategies in and across each media combined with focus on performance using KPIs and analytical tools
Understanding of CRM strategy, including data capture and mining, for retargeting, multi channel campaign management
Ability to identify attribution and utilize data for growth based on Healthcare Provider (HCP) engagement as well as gaps in HCP experience within the different multi channel levers
Proven ability to partner productively with Insights & Analytics, leveraging multisource data to identify customer trends and create innovative multi channel platforms
Outstanding communication, presentation, influencing and relationship management skills
Experience with strategic work planning and budgeting required

Track record of building successful growth plans and leading teams to measurable results; expert at managing a roadmap that requires multi-tasking skills and attention to detail
Passion for the consumer; promotes customer centricity and ensures focus on creating great customer experiences to achieve competitive advantage
Strong leadership skills; experience managing multifunctional teams through periods of high growth and/or transformation
Demonstrated success operating collaboratively and building cross-functional partnerships, ideally within a complex, highly-matrixed company
Strong understanding of continuous improvement discipline; ability to recommend and ensure implementation of process changes resulting in efficiency gains
Strong ability to motivate employees, handle difficult employee relations issues and create a culture that supports high employee morale
Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load and meet project deadlines
Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions
Familiarity with Healthcare or Specialty Pharmacy / PBM industry very helpful
Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate project deadlines and travel requirements

Position Overview:
This is the Inside sales leadership role for our product portfolios, including Oral Care, Allergy, Smoking Cessation, and products. In addition this role will drive the Omni channel capability of this team to have impact with the HCP community that GSK Consumer serves. Reporting to the Director of Expert Sales Operations & Telesales, this person will be a critical member of the Deployment team with overall accountability for all the Expert HCP multi channel initiatives. This role will oversee a team of 20 outsourced agents; this position is responsible for managing all Inbound and Outbound projects, daily activities, including Direct Mail, Digital, and emerging channels. The successful candidate will drive profitable recommendation growth and establish efficiency and scalability for products within each multi channel lever. We are looking for a change advocate with the vision, creativity, and drive to help get ahead of industry trends, deliver against our goals, and contribute meaningfully to the culture through modeling our values.

Direct reports: Telesales and Inside Sales
Other Key Stakeholders: Expert Sales & Marketing, CRM, Insights & Analytics, Global Brand & Marketing, Sales Force Excellence
Effectively manage the telesales team for Consumer Healthcare Expert sales compromising of twenty outsourced agents.
Drive strategy for measurable campaigns that deliver on KPIs for the team.
Define and measure key performance indicators for the team.
Drive continuous improvements around operational efficiencies
Contribute to cross-divisional business goals through effective cross-selling strategies
Collaborate with Global Brand and Marketing and other marketing peers across different business lines to share best practices and ensure a holistic market approach
Collaborate with key stakeholders and Expert sales & marketing teams to streamline operational costs and increase speed and quality of delivery to market
Drive multi channel campaigns for the business to increase HCP branded recommendations
Work with key stakeholders to understand requirements and provide specific input to develop the overall strategic multi channel sales plan.
Executing Multi channel distribution across digital, social media, email, internet aggregators, direct mail, eDetailing, WebEx-remote detailing
Lead the industry in trendsetting use of digital and social platforms within Inside Sales
Set and manage budgets to maximize cost effectiveness; own P&L responsibilities across multiple channels
