The Company offers Suddenlink-branded digital cable television, high-speed Internet and voice services to residential and business customers across the western, midwestern and southern states. Additionally, for its business customers, Suddenlink provides targeted television and online advertising services.

The purpose of this position is to develop, support, train, monitor, coach and motivate members of the inside sales department. Assist in providing employees with quality information relating to products, services, marketing strategies and service skills to ensure the development of quality customers.

  • Provides quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values
  • Assist and support sales department employees and management to ensure customer satisfaction and increased revenue
  • Provides quality of coaching to the assign Inside Sales Agents in order to improve customer service and experience, order entry and overall sales performance
  • Communicates Inside Sales Revenue and Commissions to the assigned team members
  • Handle and resolve effectively escalated customer issues
  • Assists with plan and organize workflow including scheduling work hours, vacations and sick time coverage
  • Monitor daily sales performance of employees using direct and indirect call observations, CustomView Director, one-on-one coaching and team meetings
  • Administrator of the Employee Refer A Business Program
  • Work in conjunction with other departments and functional groups to ensure the flow of build projects are being implemented, installations are completed and service checks are monitored based on acceptable timelines
  • Interface and develop relationships with the various operating units to maximize the utilization of the sales group and to achieve high revenue, exceptional service in a cost-effective manner
  • Understand, and adhere to all schedules, policies and procedures of the department. Ensure that all employees are adhering to the same policies
  • Communicate organizational information to keep employees aware of organizational performance and issues impacting it
  • Assists on recruiting, selecting, training and supervising Sales dept. employees to maintain an appropriate staffing level in order to meet departmental needs
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned

  • Four year college degree preferred or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based computer
  • Keyboarding skill
  • Proficiency with company billing system
  • Proficiency with system-related tools
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong people and relationship management skills
  • Strong leadership, motivational, team building skills
  • Strong negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong performance management and ability to deliver disciplinary actions required


  • Minimum three years customer service and/or sales experience preferred
  • Three + years supervisory experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Telephony and Commercial packages preferred
  • Proven track record of leading a team and achieving objectives and quotas
