This position will be responsible for managing multiple assigned integration projects to completion and will work closely with other project managers and a program manager.  This position is considered to be a senior project management role and the project work will be complex in nature.  The project manager will work within an overall “Program Management” framework and will closely coordinate their project plans into an overall Program Management Plan with help from a program manager.  The project manager will need to be familiar with the “agile” project management discipline.

  • Create a standardized project plan for each implementation project. Validate plan’s scope and associated time and resource estimates with supporting business owners, sales and the Client. Manage activity specified in the plan and monitor progress toward each milestone.  Identify risk factors and contingency plans, communicate project status and critical risk factors to management and other stakeholders and escalate issues as necessary to adjust the project scope, resources or time line as needed to minimize risk to the project’s deliverable elements.
  • Manage communication among stakeholders utilizing written tools and regular status calls and meetings to ensure that all parties are aware of the project’s progress, risk factors and required actions.
  • Create a project scope document using information from the client, sales, operations, and IT. The scope document describes the services, systems and products affected by the project and summarizes the specific requirements, operational processes, product mix, system configuration and service offering to be implemented.
  • Develop and follow an appropriate transition plan to move the project from integration to ongoing support.
  • Document lessons learned and incorporate findings for use in future projects.
