An Interior Designer position in Greensboro, NC is available through Adecco Engineering & Technology. This is a direct hire position with an established property management group in the Triad. The ideal Interior Designer candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in interior planning, design, or similar concentration and at least three years of experience providing interior planning and design services. The Interior Designer will be responsible for providing space planning and design services to clients of the property management group to include extracting all client requirements and capturing them in concise documents that facilitate execution of plans while maximizing return on dollars spent for interior improvements.

Detailed responsibilities of the Interior Designer include but are not limited to:

Prepare space plans and construction documents in accordance with applicable codes, ordinances and division standards for interior improvement projects using AutoCAD software
Select and provide assistance for the client's selection of interior finishes including types and colors of proposed materials; and ensure selections are consistent with established budgets
Prepare and present color boards for finish selections when required
Maintain sample library including coordination with material representatives to ensure currency and organization
Assist in coordination of the Tenant Improvement Process with tenants, leasing representatives, construction project managers
Calculate and measure the area of leased spaces in accordance with current ANSI/BOMA standards
Perform field measurements and verifications of leased spaces and input information into AutoCAD in order to keep updated as-built plans for all properties
Maintain a working knowledge of International Building Code and ICC/ANSI as required for development of space plans and creation of construction documents
Assemble and transmit completed construction document packages to Construction Project Manager including tenant contact information, plans, specifications, finish selections and architect's seal on plans (if required)
Assist Property Managers in planning and making finish selections for capital improvement projects (renovations and repair of common areas)
Provide space planning and design services for third part accounts
Maintain quality control program for document production to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards prescribed by Construction Manager
Prioritize planning and design projects and manage multiple tasks in order to meet departmental time commitments for completion of projects

Qualifications for the Interior Designer are as follows:

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design
At least three years of experience providing interior planning and design services (five years or more experience is ideal)
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required
Experience in move and furniture coordination preferred
Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines
Task and detail oriented with great follow-through skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
Working knowledge of building codes and standards that apply to interior improvements
