The Product Analytics area within Brighthouse Financial’s Client Solutions Department, is seeking to fill a summer Intern position to provide actuarial, reporting, analysis support for the retirement and life product line. 



  • Design and development of tools and initial data to develop model office population mix and assumptions for use in legacy modeling.
  • Research/Locate original pricing assumptions for COI review – locate documentation and build out tables in excel to use for future modeling
  • COVA bi-monthly reporting
  • Loan Rate setting
  • Convert reports from MS Access to Alteryx
  • Improve functionality of Excel reports (i.e. IBAIS – asset/sales report)
  • Building reporting capabilities with Qlikview software
  • Analyze and summarize internal and external data, define findings, and propose recommendations.
  • Apply academic knowledge and skills to solve real business questions.
  • Acquire knowledge of retirement & insurance products and insurance industry.
  • Perform additional duties as required.


  • In pursuit or recently completed actuarial degree or in related field.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, such as Excel, Word and/or Access.
  • Strong written/oral communication skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented
  • Top notch problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Be able to work together with a team and work independently as well.
