The Sensors and Integrated Systems facility has an opening for an Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering Intern for the summer of 2017 based in Burnsville, MN.
- Candidate will be responsible for developing low speed accuracy and performance characteristics for stall sensors.
- Utilizing Pro/ENGINEER and internal rapid prototyping capabilities, the candidate will be responsible for optimizing the test setup in the wind tunnel to reduce or eliminate aerodynamic errors in baseline data.
- Under the guidance of UTC Aerospace Engineers, the candidate will analyze the data and propose changes/improvements to the existing design.
- A complete test report will be prepared and presented upon conclusion of the project.
Previous Internship Experience RequiredEducation:
Completed as least sophomore year of Engineering core courses at an accredited Engineering school.
