Job Description:
Calling all sophomore, junior and senior college students to join our Building Efficiency team. Be a part of creating a new generation of controls to be used in building systems of the future. What does this mean? Working with the team of Program Managers and Engineering to develop products that improve the efficiency of building, reducing electrical usage, reducing costs and environmental impact.

How will you contribute and gain experience? During this internship you will adhere to the product development process (PDP) and work through project management and engineering development steps of prototype development, testing, and validation. You must be able to work with teams, schedule meetings and keep detailed engineering and project notes. Active listening is a very important skill that is needed for the position.
It is important to be able to juggle multiple competing priorities and be able to set priorities. Attention to detail and being able to hold focus on tasks is a must. A good sense of humor is very important to assist with working with a team of people that have significant responsibilities and global tasks.
You will gain experience in a global business and engineering environment, understanding the differing requirements for the products and the issues that need to be resolved before a product can be sold. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with multiple other departments such a finance, marketing, engineering and manufacturing that go into making the business environment. You will gain experience speaking with international partners, internal and external customers and senior management. Performs assigned responsibilities as part of an internship program. Currently enrolled in an accredited 4 year undergraduate bachelors program. High School Graduate or related experience.
