Current Need- Internal Account Manager 

Position Description

The Internal Account Manager will work in close partnership with the assigned regional sales person and is responsible for managing all aspects of the business relationship with RelayHealth clients.  This includes ensuring our customers’ success with our products and for ensuring that our customers obtain a favorable ROI.  The Account Manager is  also responsible for developing and supporting the relationship between McKesson and the individual customer, assisting the customer in maximizing the various McKesson products that they currently use and working with the customer to identify areas of need where additional McKesson products may enhance attainment of their business goals.  This will also entail developing and maintaining a close, collegial, productive working relationship with all pertinent internal departments/teams (i.e. Management, Contracting, Accounting, Fulfillment).

 
Client profile:  Decision Management clients in the Bronze Tier with an average Annual Contract Value under $25,000.00.

Qualifications



Minimum Requirements
  • Entry level position

Critical Skills
  •  

    Ability to manage relationships remotely using email, phone communication, webinars, and other available technical resources

  •  

    Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work remote and independent

  •  
    Excellent organizational and communication skills

Additional Knowledge & Skills
  • Familiarity with Decision Management Solutions for provider clients
  • Clinical Healthcare background or Clinical experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to build consultative strategic relationships at C-suite level

Education
  • BS degree or equivalent experience in business analysis. Prefer healthcare or medical billing experience



Physical Requirements

  • Newton, MA-based or remote employee (remote only after a period of 6 months training is complete); occasional travel required (less than 25%)
