As an Internal Auditor, you will participate in compliance and operational audits (including Sox related audits), as well as, special projects as assigned. Our business is a fast paced environment that will challenge you as you take on new audits. Specifically the Internal Auditor will: Perform reviews for a program of audit coverage for assigned areas, including operational and compliance audits, in accordance with generally accepted audit standards and within stipulated schedules and budgets. Maintain effective working relations with operating and executive management. Within the general guidelines provided by the Sr. Audit Manager: Assist Audit management in the development and maintenance of client relationships. Comply with management’s needs and within the scope of the department’s audit charter and plan when completing projects and staff assignments; Perform engagement duties to ensure risks are identified and appropriate audit procedures are applied to each engagement. Prepare audit reports in company with the lead auditor for assigned projects; participate in communication with management about reports and related issues and recommendations. Required Qualifications1+ years of audit experience in a related accounting, auditing or operational position
Preferred QualificationsCPA, CIA, CISA or other relevant certification preferred or working toward. EducationBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
