JOB TITLE: Internal Communications Coord

JOB SUMMARY
The Internal Communications Coordinator role will provide administrative support to the Internal Communications leaders and develop articles, post content to the intranet, manage email distribution and distribution lists, and manage various projects. This coordinator will also provide support to members of the Internal Communications team. Additional responsibilities will include assisting with employee meetings and events and managing media and internal communications calendars.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate logistics for Internal Communications team travel and expense, conference calls, video conferences, and in-person meeting arrangements, including agendas, meeting summaries, technology, locations, food/refreshments, etc.
Coordinate logistics for Internal Communications team vacation/holiday leave tracking
Publish internal communications articles to the Charter intranet
Work with internal clients to help manage intranet-related campaigns
Maintain internal communications SharePoint area
Monitor and update internal communications editorial calendars
Track and analyze intranet content by function and geography
Provide as needed support to the Analytics, Content, Field and External teams
Participate in special departmental projects. Communicate any issues, problems, or additional information to the appropriate stakeholders
Perform other duties as requested

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Outstanding organizational, writing and proofing skills
Experience creating graphics using Adobe Photoshop
Experience coordinating multiple projects and deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Creative communicator who is comfortable with a variety of vehicles for carrying the message, whether through the web, visual presentation or written communication

EDUCATION
High school diploma
Bachelor’s degree preferred with concentration in Marketing, Communications or Journalism
Related Work Experience
3+ years full-time experience in coordination/support positions

WORKING CONDITIONS
Office environment
Travel less than 10%
