1. Implement a work process to track parts being ordered that have a JDE number and no JDE number.

2. Weekly update and tracker for parts ordered

Increase visibility of high moving parts to develop accurate inventory for Geismar parts

High volume parts needing JDE numbers obtained

3. Inventory warehouse stock to determine

Obsolete parts after Unit 2 and 3 are decommissioned; input all obsolete parts into asset recover system

4. Attach JDE part numbers to EAM assets

Maintenance planner and technicians will be able to see what is in stock if the parts are linked between EAM and JDE

5. Implement a WIP location (work in progress) for all parts entering the warehouse

Get parts in the right location and off the warehouse floor

Jobs waiting on parts can be "kitted" for pick up

Roll this process to all maintenance warehouse locations

6. Inventory parts in the fleet and the assets they belong to determine part commonality

    • Valves (PSA and compressor)
    • Seals
    • Bearings
    • Fixed parts (reformer, PGB, etc)

7. Inventory obsolete parts and get into asset recovery; implement a work process to transition to other sites

  • High school diploma
  • 10 years of experience in inventory control or management
  • Requires up to 50% travel
