iOS SDET / Seattle, WA (12 Month Contract)

Top Required Skills:
  • Looking for 1 iOS and 1 Android.
  • Will consider junior level developer who is willing to build automation frameworks for a year.
  • Native Mobile App testing for Android or iOS. Candidates should have experience with Mobile Emulators (Fiddler / Charles Proxy / Android Studio / XCode). Experience with any of these would be ideal.
  • Experience logging defects in a tool like Jira, Git etc
  • Create automation frameworks
  • Enterprise Apps: Worked on customer facing apps, in a fast paced, team environment


Job Description:
  • The mobility SDET is responsible for working with agile mobile development teams (iOS or Android) to certify business functional, performance, and stability of mobile applications.
  • Resource will be responsible for reviewing user stories, writing tests (manual and automated), triaging non-conformities, and delivering test results (status, defects).
  • Also helping the team create an automation strategy for the customer facing iOS and Android Apps as well as the backend Java services.
  • Agile testing
  • Experience testing multiple versions across both iOS/Android platforms
  • Experience testing iOS and/or Android apps on a variety of devices (phones, tablets, emulators)
  • Experience identifying and creating service interruptions
  • (Strongly desired) Experience using cloud-based mobile solutions and automation (e.g. MobileLabs, Perfecto Mobile, Device Anywhere)
  • (Strongly desired) Experience testing mobile devices over wifi, cellular, and network visualizers (e.g. HP NV/Shunra)
  • (Nice to have) Experience using Fiddler/Charles proxy Web debugger

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. The position requires frequent communication with colleagues and partners in several different geographic locations and time zones
  • Proven ability to work with all members of an extended and diverse project team
  • Must be detail-oriented, self-organized, be committed to quality and be capable of tracking multiple issues simultaneously
  • Candidate must have mentoring and guidance skills to provide oversight and direction to contractors and junior members of the team
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Confidence and ability to perform effectively and make decisions with minimal management oversight.
  • Ability and desire to effectively mentor others and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience overseeing remote and vendor led teams a plus.
