This individual will be responsible for leading Otis' Connected Products strategy supporting Internet of Things (IoT) and Digital. They will be responsible for connectivity, cloud-based architecture and advanced analytics. They will acquire a deep understanding of Otis products and services and become a change agent within the organization. In addition, they will work in partnership with the business teams to deploy these solutions to the field.
  • Stay abreast of technology/industry trends and innovation
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications
  • Develop projects plans to execute proof of concepts, pilots, and field trials
  • Identify, manage, and escalate project risks
  • Work closely with business leaders to define digital business process opportunities enabled by technology
  • Participate with the business in creating business operating plans and ROI analysis
  • Lead organizational change management tasks specific to IT
  • Understanding of next generation hosting architecture (ie cloud) and security
  • Understanding of Cybersecurity and risk mitigations
  • Help develop an overall IoT and Mobile ecosystem engagement strategy
  • Utilizing user-centered design, lead the development of policy and governance frameworks and the deployment of pilots with partner governments and other stakeholders
  • Drive effective project delivery, integration, and coordination, through a highly collaborative approach and effective resourcing, budgeting, project and process management, communication, and reporting
  • Drive the deployment and utilization of digital interactive tools for project communities
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support

  • Excellent understanding of the software development process, particularly agile methodologies
  • Ability to work with multiple global locations
  • Develop relationships with strategic technology partners
  • Strong knowledge and experience working within Engineering/Manufacturing
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging data to solve complex business problems
  • Proven experience in working global IT projects - demonstrate past project experience in working with onshore and offshore resources, software vendors, and global deployment locations
  • 10+ years of experience leading large change management projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to conduct presentations to large organizations, as well as to executive and upper management teams

  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts concisely to non-IT business professionals

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
