As the Director of Intel FPGA IP Engineering group, you will lead the best-in-class engineering team focused on delivering FPGA Full IP solutions. You will be responsible for building and managing a highly talented team of design managers and team leads. The successful candidate will be able to succeed in the following primary roles: Provide strategic IP solution leadership to the department and company in the area of soft and hard intellectual property particularly in PCIe and other Intel FPGA protocols.Lead and collaborate across wider engineering organization leaders to ensure complete readiness of full ingredient necessary to deploy time-to-market IP solutions Set operational and engineering standards of excellence for individual and group performance.Achieve high customer satisfaction for IP core availability, features, performance and qualityPartner with marketing and sales to define and roll out new productsDevelop leaders in management and the individual contributor staffAs part of the global RD engineering organization, you need to team-up with remote teams for product development and exploring, nourishing core competence for your team while deliver high quality product on schedule.Identify and analyze problems, plans, tasks, and solutions establish and oversee standards of excellence for group performance
Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 15 years of experience with 5 years of experience in building and managing design teamsDemonstrated experience in delivering large complex blocks on multiple projects, including advanced process nodesAbility to manage projects, resources, and schedules in a matrix organization, including multiple geographic locationsAbility to drive multiple aspects of a chip project including software, IP, product engineering, and test engineeringExperience in new product definition, strategy, and planningProven ability in delivering high quality products consistentlyAbility to work cross-functionally to drive issues to closureExcellent oral and written communication skills
