The IT Lead will take a lead role in the implementation of Flexible Integration solutions related to our Application and Data Integration strategy. The scope of the role will include the deployment of innovative flexible data integration technologies which will provide business insights to achieve our strategic business objectives. The IT Lead will collaborate with Business Product Owners, Enterprise Architects, Application Services Leaders, Global Technology Services and External Partners to apply enterprise technology and development capabilities to deliver solutions that rapidly meet business needs. Key technology capabilities will include Application and Data Integration, as well as Process Integration capabilities. These capabilities will be implemented through In-Memory Data Grid solutions, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and ETL tools. Applications involved may be SaaS/Paas/IaaS or hosted within J&J. This role is responsible for collaborating with business partners and IT peers to deliver portfolio of projects with Agile delivery teams. Experience in High Performance Computing, Object Modeling and great aptitude for working in team environment for enterprise level implementations are key requirements for this position.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead Flexible Integration Technology implementation and provide services across J&J
  • Lead a team of onsite and offshore developers to deliver integration solutions
  • Take the demand for integration services from business IT partners and other dominant service providers to convert them to integration solutions
  • Provide the L3 support and subject matter expertise to the integration support engagements
  • Be the liaison between development team and infrastructure team
  • Partner with business product owners to define the IT capabilities, build roadmaps, establish project portfolio, prioritize backlog and deliver the solutions utilizing an Agile delivery model
  • Provide technology leadership in the area of flexible integrations to shape and design solutions and deliver solutions that integrate with ERP and SaaS applications
  • Manage team of resources who work with the business to shape integration requirements and deliver solutions utilizing Agile IT sprint cycles
  • Map out complex business processes to serve as reference for development of integration solutions/frameworks and advocate for business process simplification where appropriate to deliver robust and cost effective solutions
  • Oversees progress of work in multiple Agile Scrum work streams. Co-ordinates work streams, activities and initiatives across Product Lines as needed. Write, manage, and clarify complex story points or assists Leads and Senior Analysts with the task
  • Ensure compliance requirements are met, oversees documentation activities and participates in compliance activities as required
  • Ensure successful business product owner engagement and completion of user acceptance testing
  • Accountable for application support of Flexible Integration platforms via Service Level Management with Application Service teams
  • This position also requires strong analytical and project management skills, with strong communications skills and the ability to give presentations and public speaking are required
  • Must be results-oriented and possess desire for solving problems


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent is required
  • A minimum of six (6) years of overall experience in information technology is required
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience with in-memory data integration technologies such as GemFire is required
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience with Java / Spring XD is required
  • Applied experience with other IMDG solutions like Terracotta is preferred
  • Experience with unstructured data is preferred
  • Understanding of and experience with Big Data technologies and solution architecture (Hadoop / AWS / Cloudera) is preferred
  • Experience with Integration technologies like Talend, Informatica, SAP PI and webMethods will be a plus
  • Strong experience with SAP integrations (IDOCs, BAPI, RFC) is a plus
  • Experience with AWS and cloud based system integration (SAAS, PAAS, IAAS) is preferred
  • Project Management experience is preferred
  • Must have the ability to solve complex business problems and present recommendations to senior management effectively
  • Demonstrated experience working across multiple franchises in a matrix environment to get results is preferred
  • Experience working with external partners, customers and data providers is preferred
  • Experience working with Application Services and key vendors is preferred
  • Must demonstrate ability to successfully manage multiple projects with direct exposure to end-to-end development of in-memory data grid solutions is required
  • Must have strong relationship building skills, influencing enterprise Architecture, internal and external stakeholders with shared and divergent interests
  • Experience in a global matrix environment preferred
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities, build productive relationships, make decisions in an ambiguous environment, understand technical concepts and manage a portfolio of projects are preferred
  • Must have proven experience with Agile/DevOps/Lean and be able to multi-task, be dependable, and have continuous commitment to improvement with a metrics driven approach to ensure appropriate delivery, inspection and quality
  • Experience in working with Regulatory Applications (Examples: GxP, SOX and PII) is preferred
  • Experience in the Medical Devices/Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industries with strong business acumen is preferred
  • Must be self-motivated and be able to operate with minimal supervision
  • This position requires up to 20% travel and is located in Raritan, NJ
