Oracle Product Release is seeking Configuration Analysts who will work within the Product Release team to administer Oracle's internal installations of Oracle CPQ, a Configuration, Pricing, and Quoting application. The role will involve both daily maintenance and release work as well as design/development activities. Specifically, a Config Designer will be expected to work with Product Managers and Sales Operations to design configuration models and work with Configuration Developers to ensure models are built to specifications. He/She will also help define business processes, to develop and implement enhancements using the functionality available in the "Administration Platform", and to test and troubleshoot application issues, providing appropriate feedback to Oracle's CPQ IT and development teams.

    Ability to learn quickly in a challenging environment and work as part of a team or independently to achieve objectives Strong problem solving skills and technical aptitude Detail oriented Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic knowledge of software programming best practices (undergraduate degree that included some computer science coursework or equivalent experience) Strong Microsoft Excel skills The ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of Big Machines CPQ Configuration, Commerce, and Document Engine modules, including BML and BMQL a plus - Blue Belt Certification ideal

Assists with analyzing complex business problems to be solved with automated systems
As part of a software project implementation team assists in implementing software projects by mapping business processes, producing documentation, establishing acceptance testing criteria.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.
Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving.
Ability to travel as necessary. Prefer 2 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree.
Basic front end user interface / user experience skills
