Job Title : Technical Developer, Global Deal Mgmt IT - BI & Tools

Global Finance Operations

General Function :
Global Deal Management is responsible for enabling the sales force through support on quoting, contract, approval, and migration transactions. The Global Deal Management Operations team supports the organizations transactional teams through: modernizing the systems infrastructure, providing process and system support, enabling self-service transaction processing, and optimizing resource allocation and efficiency through centralization.

Responsibilities :

This role provides BI development support to the global Deal Management organization

by enabling custom reporting solutions that meet specific business needs. This includes

working with the business to understand the requirements, identifying solutions,

development within the extended data warehouse (EDW) and dashboard development
as required. This role also provides support on Deal Management EDW by managing

bug tickets, trouble shooting and resolving system issues and managing enhancement

tickets.

Qualifications :
  • Technical education (Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science) and related skills
  • 4 years of experience with complex Business Intelligence Reporting Implementations
  • 4 years of experience with Oracle relational Databases, Data Warehouses, OBIEE / related technologies and Oracle PL/SQL
  • Understanding and performing basic end-to-end performance tuning and optimization of ETL, RPD & Dashboard for performance E
  • Experience in working directly with end users
  • Good knowledge of Oracle OBIEE Release 11g
  • Knowledge of SQL/PLSQL, Dimensional Modeling, and Star Schema design
  • E xperience with Oracle BIEE development & RPD design
  • Experience in designing technical architecture, configuring all components of OBIEE (OBIEE Answers, Publisher, Delivers & BI Office),implementing the metadata layers and generating reports and dashboards
  • Good knowledge with design & development of OBIEE reports and dashboards & best practices
  • Strong experience in OBIEE Answers, BI Admin tool, OBIEE Web Catalog and application/object security, working knowledge of WebLogic Server and Architecture
  • Experience with agile and waterfall life cycle methodology

Qualifications:
Assists with analyzing complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.

As part of a software project implementation team, provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user needs. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business specifications. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

Job duties are varied and complex; independent judgment needed. May have project lead role. Prefer 5 years relevant experience and BA/BS degree.
