The individual will be responsible for working with various lines of business, to from IT and QSA's to identify which systems and processes fall within scope for PCI DSS compliance.
1)Establish the concept of PCI Data Flow with business owners and the PCI Data Flow contact for IT at the credit union. There are currently 300 tasks with 35 different owners.
2)Documented data flow diagrams, and inventory IT applications/systems, databases and Service Providers in accordance with PCI Scope 1.0.
3)Conduct compliance gap assessments against the PCI DSS 3.1 requirements and perform remediation and maintenance
4)Identify remediation activities (tasks) to address the gaps and validate the approach with QSA's.
5)Build PCI Compliance Task List with the remediation activities, assigned owners, start/stop dates and estimated work effort.
6)Develop and document procedures related to: Policy/standard/procedure review and approval, exception management and change management.
1)Develop materials and conduct Cyber Security Maturity Workshops.
2)Utilize the NIST Cyber Security Framework and Critical Security Controls, as well as work with management and security SME's to determine the target maturity levels and current maturity levels for the organization.
3)Complete workshops to identify proposed projects and reduce the gaps between current and target maturity.
