Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for IT Manager – Business Analyst, Global Marketing Product Line to be located in Somerville, NJ


This is a project assignment for the duration of the requisite project work required for the Medical Device Transformation Initiative, which is expected to conclude at or prior to 1 YEAR from the start date in this project role.

This individual will be primarily aligned with the Global Marketing product line. They will work closely with business user groups, agency partners and development team to translate business needs into clearly and easily understood requirements to deliver capabilities/solutions/applications that meet acceptance criteria.

 

Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities – Approximate Percentage of Time

  • 45% - Agile User Requirements: Works with the business partners to identify/document/translate requirements for IT sprint cycles and in a consumable format and terminology for developers (includes project charters, use cases, data flows, wireframes…etc). Explains to the business how requirements may be implemented from a functional standpoint.
  • 20% - Relationship Management / CLO IT partner: Play a key role in collaborating with and influencing key stakeholders – including: other directors, executives and regional/functional leadership. Participates/Leads Global Marketing IT capabilities/solutions/project portfolio.
  • 10% - Program Oversight: Report on the progress of workstreams within scope of responsibility.  Ability to present to senior stakeholders at Director and/or VP levels.
  • 10% - Develops acceptance criteria with business partners. Coordinates user acceptance testing or assists unit testers so that requirements are satisfied
  • 5% - Applies compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, provides documentation and participates in compliance activities as required
  • 5% - Prepares for and participates in select governance forums to gain visibility/approval for initiatives/portfolio within scope of responsibility.  Ensures proper socialization / alignment prior to governance reviews.  Work with business product owner on funding approvals within scope of responsibility.
  • 5% - Perform other work related duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent OR 4+ years with advanced degree or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 6 years’ of relevant experience is required.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience with a proven track record of leading and delivering complex IT solutions is highly preferred.
  • Has current knowledge of industry and business process trends related to Global Marketing.
  • Has domain knowledge of Marketing Function and/or Communications function, and experience developing/configuring IT solutions for key processes within Digital Marketing. 
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, including user story creation, backlog prioritization, coordination with scrum teams and UAT is required. 
  • Quickly learns business and complex processes.
  • Ability to understand and work across multiple business domains in support of projects.
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills. Ability to partner with development teams. 
  • Ability to collaborate with key partners and stakeholders and strong relationship management skills.
  • Experience working with cross-regional/global IT and Cross-Functional Teams
  • Must have excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Must be skilled in building strong cross-functional partnerships
  • Experience with leading multi-company teams and global efforts are preferred
  • Demonstrated ability for a rapid understanding of business processes, and their technology implications.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture and development methodologies preferred
  • Ability to drive results under tight timelines and manage a portfolio of initiatives in parallel (including both new development and support for existing platforms)
  • Up to 20% domestic and international travel may be required
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
  • Is proficient in Microsoft office and has the ability to work from objectives with minimal guidance or supervision.
  • Must be adept at handling complexity and ambiguity.  Proven relationship management skills.
  • Partner across a number of stakeholders (Business & IT) to build strategies for successful development and deployment of CLO solutions and campaigns, enabling the achievement of sustainable behavior of the OneMD Core Values.
  • Drive innovative opportunities with his/her business partners to enable education, awareness, engagement, rewards and recognition through digital and mobile capabilities, and collaboration capabilities and tools.
  • Understand IT products, processes and systems such as: IT governance and portfolio, AS Build, Run, Support, GTS MARs and Mass Push processes.
  • Prioritize and align, with the business, a harmonized CLO project portfolio of capabilities in support of strategic business imperatives
  • Works with the business and creative agencies to translate requirements for IT in a consumable format and terminology for developers (includes project charters, use cases, data flows, wireframes, etc). Explains to the business how requirements may be implemented from a functional standpoint.
  • Ensures effective coordination of user acceptance testing (as required) to ensure requirements are satisfied.
  • Applies compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, provides documentation and participates in compliance activities as required
  • Drives collaboration and sharing of best practices within the Global Marketing Product line space across the WW Medical Device IT community.
  • Acts as an IT representative on business leadership teams as assigned.
  • Proven experience in best practices in: Digital Marketing (Web, Digital Asset Management), eDetailing, Demand Forecasting, Brand Management, Product Pricing, Channel Management, Marketing Innovation and Marketing Insights/Analytics is preferred.
