This position’s primary location will be in Raritan, NJ and may require up to 20% travel, both domestic and international.

This role will be a part of the R&D IT Innovation Enablement organization, focused on the Business Development and Partner Interaction Product Line Offering. This individual will be responsible for strengthening our capabilities in support of our business development and external innovation activities.  We are looking for a leader that will be responsible for manage programs focused on delivering the global vision, strategy and roadmap that supports Janssen R&D mission to become a “Scientific Partner” of choice in Innovation and Research.  This role will report into the Product Line Owner for Business Development and Partner Interaction.  

The Program Manager will run the operations and manage delivery of a portfolio of projects for the J&J Innovation Centers, Janssen R&D Communications, Global Public Health, Janssen R&D Operations, the therapeutic areas and Early Research.  The product lines span a few key areas of digital web development and internal collaboration and partner interaction (external collaboration).  The digital product lines include Drupal website development, SharePoint portal development, social networking, web analytics and mobile application development.  The internal collaboration product lines include Office 365: (SharePoint Online, Delve, Sway, Yammer, Skype for Business, etc.), external document collaboration platforms (i.e. IntraLinks, Box, SharePoint online, One Drive), large file transfer, WebEx, and Amazon BYOD Virtual Workspaces. 
 
The Program Manager will: 
•Owns and drives the overall roadmap. Steers, manages and runs the process from accepted proposal to client delivery, meeting technical, spend, quality, and timeframe requirements. Integrates across product interfaces and is responsible for overall delivery timeline.
•Verifies scope and acceptance conditions
•Plans and specifies resources needed
•Builds up development team and assigns team members
•Controls project execution delivering projects aligned to the product line vision, goals and business value
•Coordinates the project team
•Coordinates projects within programs
•Ensures co-ordination with the support and maintenance teams
•Coordinates the efforts of team members and third-party contractors 
•Manages compliance impacts: IT Security & Risk Management, legal, GxP, SOX, privacy, records management
•Resolves problems to deliver to time, spend and quality and to ensure realization of business benefits
•Represents projects in management review
•Communicates project evolution and involve the various stakeholders
•Supplies input for staff evaluation
•Manages IT Portfolio Planning Office and Financial processes in Project Management system and PMX 
•Understands the business’s needs and priorities for the product lines
•Drives global capabilities to maximize value through leverage and efficiency
•Understands the business needs and priorities for the PLO
•Oversees and partners with Shared services for development and delivery of key set of capabilities 


Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of IT experience is required
•2 years of program management is required
•Experience with financial management is required
•Experience facilitating across various levels of business and IT organization is required
•Knowledge of Digital product lines, at least one of the following is required:  Drupal Web development, SharePoint Portal development, Social Networking, Mobile application development
•Experience managing multiple vendors is required
•Experience with agile is required
•Experience with being able to synthesize stakeholder inputs into product decisions is required
•Experience in analytics and the ability to create dashboards for presentation of data is preferred
•Pharma industry experience is preferred  
•Knowledge of Collaboration product lines is preferred: Office 365: (SharePoint Online, Delve, Sway, Yammer, Skype for Business, etc.), external document collaboration platforms (i.e. IntraLinks, Box, SharePoint online, One Drive), large file transfer, WebEx, Amazon BYOD Virtual Workspaces
•Experience creating process mapping around new and/or existing technology is preferred
