IT Manager - Kronos

The Kronos IT Manager is responsible for the vision, strategy and execution of projects and enhancements of Time & Attendance applications and tools.

Responsibilities include:
  • Accountability for globally overseeing the Kronos Workforce Management technology product and projects
  • As the Global IT Product Owner, set a clear vision for the IT product and develop a multi-generation IT product strategy and road map. Understand the Time & Attendance business needs and aligns IT capacity with top business priorities.
  • Primary technical I/T interface with Payroll, HR & Supply Chain Business Process Owners, demonstrating a clear understanding of T&A integration points with all areas
  • Serve as Technical Application Owner, demonstrate knowledge of solution architecture and integration points with other applications
  • Develop strong internal customer relationships as a ‘trusted advisor’ to the Payroll Business Owner, PMO Office, and I/T management at all levels
  • Manage the execution of the T&A project portfolio. Ensures service delivery is optimized. Oversee multiple concurrent projects, across all regions, tying them all together with strategic vision and focus. Partner with and guide regional Project Management and Business Analysts to ensure successful delivery of projects
  • Proactively look at the ‘big picture’, identifying and driving additional opportunities to improve T&A business processes and technology solutions. Partner with IT Business Technology Leader (BTL), ITS, Application Services and external partners to identify new capabilities to deliver on unmet business needs. Maximizes ROI by identifying and prioritizing the IT product features by business value.
  • Analyze business requirements and estimate development and effort levels. Negotiate with the business to see what items are built and which are backlogged

  • Bachelor’s degree is desired (in Computer Science, Information Technology, HR/Payroll or related discipline is highly desired).
  • A minimum of 5 years of technology experience is required 
  • Strong domain knowledge of Time & Attendance / Workforce Management (WFM) / Human Capital Management (HCM)/ Payroll business processes is highly desired.
  • In depth knowledge in Kronos is required along with knowledge of Workday, SAP or other Time Solution tool highly preferred
  • A comprehensive understanding of Time & Attendance or Kronos processes, applications and solutions required
  • Solid Integration expertise between WFM, HCM, and Supply Chain systems
  • Previous experience delivering Enterprise projects is required. Experience managing and/or delivering successful projects across multiple regions, simultaneously.
  • Experience in project management with strong process focus and analytical skills
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.  Able to interact with IT stakeholders across the enterprise and senior business leaders at Corporate and Affiliates. Good presentation skills. Ability to influence decisions without formal authority. Ability to work in a highly matrix environment
  • Experience with developing and implementing strategies / capabilities /systems in complex, diversified and decentralized global environment is strongly desired.
  • Ability to align complex architecture to business strategies and initiatives
