Johnson & Johnson Consumer IT is recruiting for a Manager in Information Technology to drive initiatives for the Consumer IT Employee Productivity organization. The role will have many key focuses:
1) Large Project/Program Management 2) Manage, plan and drive execution for Collaboration and Productivity, 3) Innovation that relates to end user productivity 4) Manage TLM that enables business solutions (Share-Point, O365, Windows 10), 5) Manage TLM infrastructure upgrades/remediation for the region (W2003 server, XP) as well as personal productivity device functionality and governance.
The selected candidate will be an IT Manager responsible for working with Global and Regional leads on delivering Enterprise wide technology solutions (scoping, planning, impact assessments and delivering), communicate status and risk to senior management, and create and manage ongoing governance for implemented productivity solutions. They will manage the testing for business enabled software releases and validated system release schedules and collaborate with POC’s in region to plan and execute TLM business enabled solutions. The manager will be responsible for metric reporting on a global lever for all TLM initiatives and technology consumption to feed licensing needs. They will be responsible for budget and vendor management for program/project support (bug fixes, outages, troubleshooting, critical business needs)
The candidate will become part of the Consumer IT Employee Productivity Organization, developing and enhancing technical and business partner relationships. The candidate should have strong communication skills (written and presentation) and proven project management skill. The individual will be responsible for interfacing with senior leadership to provide support for project decisions and gain support for additional activities. The candidate will demonstrate decisive leadership skills, open to new innovations and overall drive the end user productivity plans and strategy for the future.
•Partner with the business partners to manage the overall IT demand & continuously manage business partner expectations.
•Prepare and deliver regular updates and communications (verbal and written) to the Business and IT Leadership teams, and extended business partners.
•Must have proven project management skills including the use of MS Project and act as Liaison between the various IT organizations to ensure successful delivery of initiatives to the business partners.
•Lead efforts to standardize processes and technologies globally.
•Champion the change management efforts of IT initiatives with the business partner community.
•Interface with suppliers and vendors to evaluate software, hardware, or services and make recommendations.
•Ability to learn and understand multiple business processes to determine the best solutions
•Ability to work cross functionally and collaborate across the J&J organization
•Must have strong communications and influencing skills.
•Provide innovative thinking and new ideas to drive adoption
•A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.
•A minimum of 6 years of IT experience is required.
•Understand multiple business areas with a strategic mindset.
•Hands-on disciplined project management skills are required, with advanced PM certifications preferred.
•Ability to manage through ambiguity
•Strong understanding of the technical aspects of IT infrastructure is required
•Previous experience with the management of large programs including strategy and road map in a global organization is required
•Possess the ability to identify emerging technologies and determine application of these technologies to the business.
•Previous experience with large program management in a matrix and cross-division organization is required
•Previous experience with governance and system validation is preferred
•A strong understanding and experience with technology development lifecycle is required
