CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Information Technology group. We are looking for an IT Relationship Manager to create and maintain a strategic partnership between IT and the Patronage, HR, Legal, Compliance and Audit functions; acting as a main point of contact between IT and business leaders to better align IT initiatives with business needs, providing overall accountability for the delivery of technology services and ensuring IT is meeting the strategic needs. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, excellent leadership and interpersonal skills and a strong business acumen.
Become an active partner in the transformation and digitalization of the different Functional Areas supported.
Develop and execute Functional Areas IT strategies, technology roadmaps and annual tactical plans in alignment with the business and Enterprise IT Strategy.
Establish and maintain a trusted relationship with key leadership within the business and IT management and staff, in order to help achieve function goals through the use of technology.
Ensure IT alignment and assist the Functional Areas in achieving their strategic goals. Act as a liaison between the business and IT and facilitate communication and understanding of the business model and its key business processes to key stakeholders in the function and the IT organization
Cultivate business cases, drive and execute continuous improvement, perform and facilitate business analysis and provide governance for work intake and prioritization of the project portfolio. Provide delivery of agreed projects and services.
Define, negotiate, own and manage the project budgets as well as ensure solutions and projects are engineered and developed in alignment with the enterprise architecture standards and technologies and that solutions provide maximum return on investment.
Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies and relate new technologies to generating business value.
Provide people leadership and development, maintaining high levels of engagement.
Cultivate and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Basic Qualifications: (required)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline (additional years of IT experience may offset degree requirement)
8 plus years of IT leadership experience in a global, multi-business environment, to include:
3 plus years of experience as an IT Manager directly supporting a business unit or company
Management of teams (5+)
Management of business requirements
Business process improvement
Preferred Qualifications: (desired)
Project Management or ASAP Project Management certification
Experience supporting and partnering with HR, Legal, Compliance and Audit organizations
Experience in IT vendor management, including off-site and off-shore resources
Experience with SOX requirements
- SAP FICO, Vistex, Success factors and Lawson knowledge
- Knowledge of HR and/or loyalty processes
