IT Sr. Manager, Sales Force Effectiveness, Product Line Owner NA – NA CRM/FIM (Field Inventory Management) will be primarily aligned with the Medical Devices IT SFE working closely with the business to translate business needs and requirements into clear and easily understood strategies and requirements for consumable product backlogs and sprints cycles.    The candidate will be primarily aligned to the Commercial Operations CRM & FIM COEs to help drive effective utilization of CRM and FIM capabilities to unify all Medical Device Sales force organizations in NA.

  • Responsible to ensure delivery of NA CRM / FIM solutions.  Manages a team of business analysts working to innovate and deliver NA CRM / FIM capability for all NA Medical Device Franchises
  • Inspires and coaches direct and indirect staff to deliver to base business and program milestones
  • Able to writing user stories, analyzing data and preparing business and technology recommendations 
  • Stays up to the minute on state of the art CRM / FIM business process and technology approaches
  • Has expert opinions on the product backlog and sequencing for creating the highest value for MVP
  • Has the ability to rapidly develop a strategic understanding of sales force consultant and SCG employee customer journey, technology and business practice intellectual property of Johnson & Johnson and our competitors
  • Ensures product features are delivered in a manner compliant with all J&J quality and regulatory standards
  • Accountable for creating competitive advantage through the product backlog and user story development complementing the full Medical Device Commercial and Supply Chain portfolio and sets the standard for industry
  • Effectively manage relationships with key development and delivery teams to ensure the smooth Agile delivery of key product and solutions in support of the overall SFE Product line
  • Translate requirements for IT Sprint Cycles; May coordinate user acceptance testing; perform platform configuration; write specifications in a consumable format; Map business processes; apply compliance requirements
  • Partners across business and IT stakeholders located across all regions to build strategies for successful development and deployment of NA CRM / FIM Solutions portfolio of core capability offerings and new technologies to drive business value; enabling the achievement of product delivery targets and more
  • Prioritizes and aligns with business accordingly to drive a harmonized portfolio in support business goals
  • Collaborates with IT & Business Owners of legacy CRM / FIM IT systems to plan future state, transitions, and financials
  • Ensure effective coordination of user acceptance testing (as required) and/or assist unit testers to ensure requirements are satisfied
  • Write, manage & clarify story points as required.  Maintain key Product backlogs in partnership with Business Product Owners
  • Work with business to translate requirements for IT sprint cycles and in a consumable format and terminology for developers (includes project charters, use cases, data flows, wireframes, etc.). Explain to the business how requirements may be implemented from a functional standpoint
  • Understand IT products or systems in the NA CRM / FIM space, maps out business processes to serve as reference for development and IT support
  • Oversee day to day platform configuration management
  • Drive collaborations and sharing of best practices within the CRM / FIM space across the NA Medical Device IT community

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 8 years of overall IT experience is required. Leadership experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated knowledge related to industry, business process and trends related to CRM, CLS, R&D, Supply Chain or related areas
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and application development methodologies
  • Current knowledge of industry and business service process trends and ability to apply knowledge to existing business processes
  • Must be able to apply compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, provide documentation and participate in compliance activities
  • A broad understanding of CRM / FIM product line capabilities and limitations of existing systems
  • Experience with analytics and reporting tools using Excel, Tableau or other tools
  • Quickly learns business and complex processes
  • The ability to understand and work across multiple business domains in support of projects
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills 
  • The ability to partner with development teams that support various technology platforms including ERP integration
  • Proven relationship management skills
  • Must be able to work from Cincinnati, OH
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s or advanced degree in the field of Computer Science or Business Administration and Master’s degree
  • Knowledge of CRM, SFDC, SaaS, Mobile, ERP capabilities and strategic frameworks
  • Knowledge with Medical Device Sales force business models
  • Strong Compliance and Quality experience in GXP, CSV, highly restricted data privacy requirements and SOX
  • Experience working with Agile, PMx, rRDM, JIRA
  • Must demonstrate analytical ability and hands-on advanced EXCEL skill
  • Demonstrated experience leading global and complex programs with significant system and process interdependencies
  • Demonstrated experience driving technology innovation
  • The position may require up to 15-25% travel
