Build and manage job database files:

Convert data from various vendors in a mixture of non-standard formats

Generate print file(s) and files for internal use

Set up job in proprietary system running on legacy DOS platform

Generate ad hoc reports using Perl, Clipper (Summer '87) and dBASE III PLUS

Assist with supporting Internet applications used for voting, reporting, file transfer and other purposes

Interface with commercially hosted web server

Maintain Web-based applications coded in HTML, CSS, Perl and JavaScript

Set up jobs and facilitate script exceptions

Back up and archive files

Assist with supporting network and Intranet applications:

Maintain 20 PCs running on MS Windows-based peer-to-peer network

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues

Maintain local Apache server with applications coded in HTML, Perl and JavaScript

Set up, test and execute e-mail blasts for client companies

Back up and archive files

Assist with supporting interactive voice response (IVR) system used for telephone voting

Maintain modules coded in a low level language, similar to MS BASIC

Set up jobs and facilitate script exceptions

Assist with daily processing

Participate in all aspects of the processing cycle; opening mail, data entry, audit, etc.

Manage the Broadridge system (downloading, processing, archiving)

Design corporate voting forms (proxy cards) using Microsoft Word

Work closely with mailing vendors to manage the production of proxy cards and mailing of client proxy material

Interact with clients throughout a project's lifecycle to ensure expectations and timetables are met

Build client specific Internet and telephone voting systems using in-house programs

Prepare documentation for client meetings

Travel to attend client meetings

Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements Education level: High school diploma required; college degree preferred.

Experience and skill sets: Moderate to advanced experience with Microsoft Word & Excel; programming experience in Perl, CSS & JavaScript; exposure to relational database systems; mathematically and logically inclined.

Personal characteristics: Friendly personality; professional appearance; able to converse easily; able to cope in multi-tasking, high stress situations; proactive, able to work with minimal supervision; able to maintain strict confidentiality.
